LIFE HISTORY
THREE FAMILY GENERATIONS
SINCE 1938
For over three quarters of a century, Reens Pharmacy has been serving the people of Millstreet, County Cork.
It was opened by Frank and Margaret Reen at the Bridge in 1938 and later moved to it’s current location on the Main Street.
Their son Frank Reen Junior joined them in 1972 and set about modernising the business.
Frank also stayed very actively involved in the Irish Pharmacy Union as well as The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.

In 2005, Franks daughter Mairead Reen became the third generation of Pharmacists to join the business.
Franks two other children, Anne Marie and Mike are also Pharmacists in Cork and England.

HEARING TEST
Mr. Viru Bamarde is a clinical audiologist who has worked for ten years with the HSE. He conducts diagnostic audiology clinics in East Village Medical centre Douglas and Reens Millstreet.
